52 Pieces of Me
Week 8
My sisters
Brooke and Emily are 2 of the biggest pieces of my life! We have so much fun together; although growing up we had our fights. Now that we are older we get along perfect. I love them to death and wish we had more time to spend together

George and Reba
Last night I enjoyed watching 2 of the best country music stars ever!
I grew up listening to George Strait as my mother is a die hard fan. I grew to love him too.
I knew every word to all his songs last night and it was amazing to see him live.
(My George shirt courtesy my mom)
Reba was an outstanding performer! She was dancing, two steppin all over the stage. Her energy and emotion was out of this world.

Music to My Ears
The other day when I was working in the office I heard some music playing from the living room. I instantly knew what it was, it was Austin playing the Indian flute.
He use to play it daily in our old apartment but he hasn't really had time to play it lately so he decided to take it out for awhile. I love when he plays it, the sounds it makes is beautiful.

Valentine's day
Remember when candy hearts were delicious?
Me either but I know I liked them at some point in my life and I know they are always a Valentine treat.
This year Austin got heart sugar cookies with cherry frosting for his Valentine's treat.
There is a story behind it; when we first started dating I surprised him one night by bringing over heart shaped sugar cookies with cherry frosting. They were literally gone the next day. I informed him they were made with extra love because I did not own a heart cookie cutter so I specially shaped each cookie into a heart. Now a days he always ask me to more heart cookies but I never have till today. I decided it would be special to again hand shape sugar heart cookies for Valentine's Day.
(sorry picture is so dark, looked lighter on my camera)
We later enjoyed a nice home lit dinner for two. Seafood Alfredo!

Gifts From Little Emmy
While I was at my mom's today Little Emily asked if I wanted to "display" some of her pottery at my house.
Of course I did!
She takes a pottery class at school and has made many things that are unique I am proud of her.

Jeans?!
First I will start by saying I am cheap.
I hate spending money even on things I need.
Last time I bought jeans was probably 3 years ago. They were 19.99 at American Eagle.
Last week I realized I needed new jeans so we went to the mall to check out prices. Lets just say you can tell I hadn't bought any in 3 years. Jeans these days start at 49.99; which I was not willing to pay! (even if they were gonna last me 3 years).
Finally we stopped by Kohl's and I found a reasonable pair for 24.99. I can only hope they last me another 3 years if prices continue to rise.
