I stopped eating red meat about 3 years ago. No real reason other than I thought its fat content was too high. I have always loved red meat so it wasn't because of taste or anything.
I have recently decided to start eating little bits of it here and there for iron. My first meal was at mom's. She cooked a "big piece of steak".
It was delicious!
I used the leftovers a few days later to make fajitas.
I am still not eating a ton of it as I prefer turkey and chicken but it was nice to have a change and hopefully it will benefit me.
